Detoxification and Cleansing  - this class is offered as part of Holistic Weight Loss Webinar, June 7, 2016

Would you like to detox harmful substances such as sugar, drugs, caffeine, alcohol or nicotine from your body?  Do you experience headaches, or other aches and pains?  Do you tend to overeat or eat fast foods, fried foods or refined foods?  Do you suffer with allergies, congestion, digestive problems and other health or weight issues?  Whether your reasons are weight loss, health improvement, better mental focus and clarity or enhancing spirituality, you'll learn the appropriate Cleanse for your unique condition and needs.

Cleansing is NOT a fast, nor is it about being hungry or deprived.  Nor is it about taking handfuls of supplements.  This workshop focuses on nutritional cleansing based on whole foods and concentrated nutrition that remove built-up metabolic waste, sludge, chemical toxins, fat, salt, and cholesterol that are stored as residues in the body.  We will also focus on foods that regenerate cells, re-mineralize the body, and provide the healthy bacteria and enzymes necessary for good health.

Spring Health

Your mental outlook, emotional state, and physical health flow with the cycles of nature, and smooth seasonal transitions are crucial to your wellness.  They tend to be times when many experience more intensity in chronic health conditions, greater stress and physical difficulty.

The Chinese health philosophy and its theory of the Five Elements provide a good understanding of how nature and your body mirror each other.  Each season relates to specific organs in the body and corresponding emotions.  The TCM corresponding organ to the spring season is the liver and its complementary organ, the gall bladder. 

Following nutritional, attitudinal, lifestyle and other practices that improve liver/gall bladder health will help you improve, even reverse, such conditions as mood swings, depression, migraines, eye, skin, tendon and ligament problems, some types of arthritis, blood disorders, PMS and menopause symptoms, and allergies.

Cleansing is NOT a fast, nor is it about being hungry or deprived.  Nor is it about taking handfuls of supplements.  This workshop focuses on nutritional cleansing based on whole foods and concentrated nutrition that remove built-up metabolic waste, sludge, chemical toxins, fat, salt, and cholesterol that are stored as residues in your body.  We will also focus on foods that regenerate cells, re-mineralize the body, and provide the healthy bacteria and enzymes necessary for good health

Certain foods and supplements can gently or strongly cleanse harmful substances from the body, renewing vitality, restoring health, giving one a sense of lightness and clarity.  Many people, however, embark on detox or cleansing diets with very little information as to the right approach for their unique body type and health condition doing more harm than good.

This presentation will help you assess the right way to approach cleansing and detoxification to get the results you desire in the most healthful way.  Plenty of handouts and resource material given.  Detoxing harmful attitudes, emotions and lifestyle habits will be addressed.

Detox is not appropriate nor recommended for pregnant and lactating women; those with serious physical and mental degenerations; or those who are deficient, frail and weak.

NOTE:  Detoxification and Cleansing does NOT mean using laxative or diuretic herbs and supplements to deplete your system.  Healthy bowel function is important, and the proper cleanse for you will normalize your bowels and digestive system.

Are your emotions making you sick and unhappy?  Long before a health, weight or lifestyle problem develops there are many signs in your emotional body that are giving you clues and seeking your attention.

Two out of three people who take anti-depressants still experience symptoms of depression.  Western medicine suggests adding more dangerous drugs.
