Welcome to the April issue of my Natural Weight Loss e-newsletter. My vision is to help you create a healthy, fit body and mind in safe, healthy, effective, enjoyable ways.

There are many popular books on weight loss with each offering the perfect diet for everyone, regardless of your unique condition.  Some of these books do have merit.  Many of them have helped some people some of the time.  However, each one is limited by a narrow and fixed way of thinking.  Their ideologies and methods differ; however, their principle is the same:  everyone should eat according to the same rules.

Have you gotten the permanent results you want? If not, it may be because you're trying to follow the popular trend of the day designed by someone who does not understand anything about you.  Forcing yourself to adhere to a rigid eating plan will not satisfy you, nor will it resolve the deeper causes.  Doing so will not bring long term weight loss, good health or happiness. 

 

There is no one way of eating that works to bring everyone good health and balanced weight.  Not everyone will benefit equally from foods that contain the same measure of nutrients.  The appropriateness of foods cannot be determined without knowledge of the constitution, condition, age, lifestyle, environment, and emotional state of the person eating them.

My intention is to help you Be Your Own Weight Loss Guru™.  Your body is always communicating to you, but few know how to accurately interpret the messages.  Excess weight, cravings and addictions, thoughts and emotions, aches and pains and health issues are guidance systems.  If you're still struggling with weight, health or emotional issues, you're missing the wisdom of these symptoms.

Seven Healthy Weight Loss Tips You Can Start Right Now

Eat 2 cups of brown rice daily cooked with a pinch of unrefined sea salt.  This will greatly minimize cravings; leave you satisfied for a longer time; improve energy and emotional stability; lower cholesterol; balance blood sugar; normalize weight; and promote good colon health.

Eat a minimum of 5 cups of vegetables daily.  More is even better.  Generally, vegetables are cleansing-some more so than others.  Cravings will be minimized; you'll lose weight and improve overall health.

Chew your food until liquid.  You'll be satisfied with less; digestion and assimilation will improve; you'll have more energy; and you'll lose weight.

Drink ginger tea, peppermint tea, or Astra Diet tea after meals for better digestion and assimilation.

Take a 10-30 minute walk after eating.  This improves digestion and helps you lose weight.

Eat your bigger meal mid-day when possible.  You're more active during the day and will use the calories. 

Don't eat anything after 7 p.m.  You'll sleep better, lose weight, and give your organs a rest.  It takes a lot of the body's energy to digest food.  If you eat close to bed time, food stagnates in your body, and your organs have to work extra hard while you're sleeping.  It's difficult to digest when you're lying down.

Have you heard about the new FDA approved weight loss drug, Alli?  This product is not your ally.  It causes diarrhea, anal leakage, and fecal incontinence.  The drug works by absorbing fat and carrying it out of the system without digesting it.   It also blocks the absorption of essential fatty acids, omega-3 fatty acids, and fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, all of which are extremely important for human health.  Taking a fat blocking pill that reduces the absorption of these essential nutrients is a prescription for serious health problems.

You'll seldom here me go on a rampage about the FDA.  I do my best to find the good in everyone and everything.  But what are they thinking?  Do you really trust the FDA to tell you what's best and safe for you?  This is a very good reason for learning to become your own educated Weight Loss Guru.  My guess is the manufacturer of this disgusting product will soon come out with a line of adult diapers.

Most people believe quicker cleansing is better and use rapid cleansing methods such as juices from fruits and vegetables and herbal detoxification products.  Fasting on an abundance of fruit and vegetable juice can seriously damage the metabolic rate and digestive strength, and can lead to abnormal weight gain after the cleanse.

It's Not all About Food

Do you want a healthy, fit body yet continually make choices that oppose your health, weight and lifestyle goals?  Do you repeatedly experience the same negative outcomes despite your efforts?  The causes are deeply rooted in your subconscious mind and your relationship with yourself.  At some level you say and believe you want to lose weight and be healthier.  At a deeper, unconscious level you may not really want this.
