For as long as I can remember, I have had digestive problems.
Over the past two years, irritable bowel syndrome and related
ailments became a constant part of my daily life. Doctor appointments,
medical tests and medications brought me no relief. As I approached
my 50th birthday, I became desperate.
I remembered
Deborah Barrs name from a brochure I had received. I
called her and made an appointment. By completing the initial
questionnaire, my physical, mental and emotional devastation
became even clearer to me.
Our first
meeting was filled with comprehensive information about a
better way for me (and my husband) to eat based on our health
condition, age and lifestyle. The next day I started cooking
some of the recommended foods. Even though I felt like a novice
in the kitchen, preparing my first lunch and dinner from Deborahs
suggestions was easy.
The next
morning I awoke with an amazing feelingno stomach pain!
It was like I had been touched by a magic wand. The more I
adjusted my diet, the better I felt. After a few weeks I was
even able to cut back on medication I was taking for mitral
valve prolapse.
Deborah
added more ideas and guidance at my next visit. Now, after
2 ½ months, I feel better than I have in a long, long
time. I realize that this is just the beginning of my transformation
and that I have so much to learn. But I know that I am on
the right path and I look forward to taking more control of
my body and feeling even better. I thank Deborah for all my
progress.

Imbalances in the digestive system may show up as poor appetite,
slow metabolism, overweight and underweight conditions, chronic
tiredness, muscle pain or stiffness, nausea, diarrhea, constipation,
bloating, blood sugar imbalances, colitis, IBS, slow metabolism,
hypothyroid, food sensitivities, candida, bacteria, parasites,
edema, cysts, tumors, and more. Imbalances also cause many emotional
disharmonies from worried, forgetful, feeling stuck and frustrated,
obsessive, dependency and much more. These problems have their
origin in the spleen, pancreas and stomach.
A nutritional
plan that emphasizes foods and preparations to strengthen
these organs and correct imbalances, along with proper food
combine. Herbal remedies can be helpful as well as appropriate
exercise and shiatsu to help move the stagnation in these
organs. Treatment plan must be individualized as there are
usually many co-factors.
Some
say that all illnesses start in the colon. Well, it's not
far from the truth. The digestive system is your transit system
to vibrant health. Deborah Barr's unique holistic approach
to correcting digestive problems and helping you achieve digestive
and organ balance is key to long-term wellness.
